Warner Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Star Wars: The Clone Wars on 11th November 2008. Available in single-disc ($28.98 SRP) and two-disc ($34.99 SRP) versions, the latter features lenticular packaging.
Single-Disc Edition: 2.40:1 Anamorphic Widescreen, English, French and Spanish DD5.1 EX, English, French and Spanish subtitles, сommentary by director Dave Filoni, producer Catherine Winder, writer Henry Gilroy and editor Jason W.A. Tucker.
Two-Disc Special Edition: As above plus a bonus disc with the following content :
-The Clone Wars: The Untold Stories – Preview stories, vehicles, planets and battles of Season One of The Clone Wars TV Series, on TV Fall 2008;
-The Voices of Clone Wars – Voiceover actors and animated characters in split-screen performances;
-A New Score – Composer Kevin Kiner establishing a new musical identity for the series;
-Gallery of Concept and Production Art;
-Webisodes – 6 Making-of-Featurettes;
-Deleted Scenes – Cargo Bay, Platform Droid Fight, Rancor Pit and Through the Tanks;
-Trailers.

Fox Home Entertainment has announced 1-disc ($29.98), 2-disc ($34.98), and Blu-ray ($39.99) editions of Babylon A.D. which stars Vin Diesel and Mélanie Thierry. Each will be available to own from the 6th January. The 1-disc will include theatrical and unrated cuts of the film, along with 2 featurettes (Babylon Babies, Arctic Escape) and a sneak peak at Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia. The 2-disc DVD and Blu-ray releases will include all that, along with 2 additional featurettes (Fit For The Screen, Flight of the Hummers), a graphic novel prequel to Babylon A.D, a still gallery, and a digital copy of the film. The Blu-ray release will also include an Interactive “Scene Evolution” in BonusVIEW Mode.

From Paramount, we're hearing that a Transformers: Extended Edition is planned for DVD and Blu-ray release in 2009, likely timed to coincide with the theatrical release of Bay's sequel film next summer.
