Road to Perdition Blu-ray Announced

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced Road to Perdition for Blu-ray release on August 3. This crime movie from Dreamworks SKG, directed by Sam Mendes and starring Tom Hanks, Jude Law and the late Paul Newman, received multiple Academy Award nominations and won the Oscar for Best Cinematography.

Seven Blu-ray Coming Up
   
As the 15th anniversary of the theatrical release of David Fincher's Se7en (aka Seven) approaches, early retailer information indicates that Warner Home Video will release this celebrated serial-killer movie in the UK on October 25. There is no information regarding release details or special features at the moment.

Cop Out [Blu-ray]

Warner Home Video has announced DVD and Blu-ray/DVD Combo releases of Cop Out for the 20th July. As far as we know, the only extra material on the DVD release will be deleted scenes. The Blu-ray/DVD combo release will include the deleted scenes, along with a Maximum Comedy Mode with Kevin Smith and Seann William Scott, Focus Points, a Wisdom From The shit Bandit feature, and a digital copy of the film.

Ip Man Blu-ray Announced

Well Go USA has set a July 27 street date for the Blu-ray release of the Hong Kong martial arts movie IP Man, directed by Wilson Yip and starring Donnie Yen. The film premiered in North America at the 2009 New York Asian Film Festival and was the opening feature at 2009 Fantasia International Film Festival. Both a collector's edition and a standard edition will be available.

The bonus features for the collector's edition include:
  Interviews with director and actors, including 20 minutes with Donnie Yen

Death Note Double Feature Blu-ray Announced

Warner Home Video has announced Death Note Collection for release on Blu-ray on August 24. This double feature consists of Death Note and Death Note: The Last Name, the two Japanese live-action films made in 2006 based on the manga series of the same title. It will comprise three discs (two BDs and one DVD with two hours of all-new behind-the-scenes footage and trailers).

Jackie Chan’s Robin-B-Hood Blu-ray Detailed

Showbox Home Entertainment has revealed the details for the Blu-ray release of Robin-B-Hood, which is due out in the UK on May 24. In this 2006 Hong Kong action/comedy movie, Jackie Chan stars as an acrobatic safe cracker whose life is turned upside down when he accepts a mysterious kidnapping assignment from an eccentric underworld tycoon.

Special features include:
  Crashing the Hood, with star and action director Jackie Chan
  The Hand That Mocks the Cradle, with director Benny Chan

Repo Men Unrated Blu-ray Announced

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced Repo Men for release on Blu-ray on July 20. This futuristic action-thriller has no relationship with the previous Repo! The Genetic Opera, even though it shares the premise of a dystopian future where transplanted human organs can be repossessed. The BD will contain two versions of the movie: the unrated director's cut and the theatrical version of the film.

  Feature commentary with director Miguel Sapochnik and writers Eric Garcia and Garrett Lerner
  Deleted scenes with optional commentary with Sapochnik, Garcia and Lerner

HBO Home Entertainment в сотрудничестве с Warner Home Video выпустит 2 ноября в формате blu-ray мини-сериал "Тихий океан". 10 минисерий от создателей сериала «Братья по оружию» рассказывают историю трех морских пехотинцев, участвовавших в сражениях с японцами на Тихом океане во время Второй мировой войны. Издание будет представлено на шести дисках со звуковой дорожкой в формате DTS-HD Master Audio. Также нас ожидают следующие дополнительные материалы:

- Усовершенствованная визуализация: 10-часовой "фильм в фильме" позволит узнать больше о морской пехоте, получить расширенные знания об исторических битвах - включены эксклюзивные интервью с историками и ветеранами, архивные съемки, карты и т.д
