Голубые релизы 2011: Король говорит

Стала известна дата выхода блю релиза Королевской речи / The King's Speech (2010) от Anchor Bay Home Entertainment - 19 апреля.

Как только что стало известно, картина о короле Георге VI (за великолепное исполнение роли которого Колин Ферт отхватил Золотой глобус) была номинирована на Оскар сразу в 12 (!) категориях: Лучший фильм, Лучшая режиссура, Лучшая мужская роль первого плана (Колин Ферт), Лучшая мужская и женская роли второго плана (Джефри Раш и Хелена Бонэм Картер), Лучший оригинальный сценарий, Лучшая работа художника, Лучший дизайн костюмов, Лучшая операторская работа, Лучший монтаж, Лучший оригинальный саундтрек и Лучший монтаж звука.

Голубые релизы 2011: 127 часов

Студия Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment назначила дату выхода блю релиза новой картины Дэнни Бойла 127 часов / 127 Hours (2010) на 1 марта.

Лента, основанная на реальных событиях, и номинированная на 6 премий Оскар, включая Лучший фильм и Лучший актер первого плана (Джеймс Франко), рассказывает историю Арона Ральстона, неудержимого скалолаза и любителя спрятанных в каньонах пещер, который в очередной раз в одиночестве едет в горы и оказывается в смертельной ловушке.

Таксист на Берлинском кинофестивале

В феврале на Берлинском фестивале будет показана отреставрированная в формате 4K лента Мартина Скорсезе Таксист / Taxi Driver (1976). Сценарист и режиссер Пол Шредер, написавший сценарий к фильму, представит восстановленную версию на мировой премьере в Берлине вместе с Гровером Криспом, вице-президентом отдела реставрации и мастеринга студии Sony Pictures. Блю релиз еще не анонсирован, но уже известно, что в Германии он выйдет в апреле.

В процессе реставрации оригинальный 35мм негатив был отсканирован в разрешении 4K. Показ фильма в таком качестве будет возможен посредством проектора компании Barco.

Картина о таксисте-ветераневьетнамской войны Трэйвисе Бикле была номинирована на Оскар в 4 категориях и получила Золотую пальмовую ветвь на фестивале в Каннах 1976 года.

Не понятно, чем думают в Warner Home Video, но явно не тем, чем стоило бы.
Студия надеется содрать с фанатов еще немного денег перед выходом последнего фильма франшизы.
В один день с сольным релизом Даров смерти: Части первой, который выходит в голубом 15 апреля, на прилавках появится и бокс-сет, включающий в себя семь фильмов на девяти дисках.

Warner Home Video has announced Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation for Blu-ray release on April 19 (separately, not in a double-feature SKU). With the purchase of either title, you can receive a voucher code for a free exclusive Jade character costume download for the PS3 version of the upcoming Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment game Mortal Kombat, also coming out on April 19. A digital copy is also included.
